Remembrance day parade - Silvertown

Remembrance day parade up at Silvertown for the British Legion there ...  no drum corps this year, so as i was the one who understood what a drum was and also what a beat was, I got "volunteered" for the job of carrying the large drum.
The only issue is that I was OK following the beat, but could not prevent them speeding up ...  anyway it all went down well enough.

Burns Night, Kirford

The Foresters wanted a piper for their Burns Night supper. .. The offer of free food always swings it.

First outing of the year ..  played for 30 mins as the guests came in,  then piped in the haggis. Dressed in #1 uniform seems to please the crowd, although I suspect anything would do, but dressing up allows them to get publicity and value out of it.

set played ...  My land set, Scotland the brave set, 48th Highlanders set, Cock of the North Set, and finishing with 72 Highlanders MSR set.
